Portland's best-known food-truck gathering lines up daily along the Eastern Promenade, where five or more trucks park with sweeping views over Casco Bay. Grassy lawn and picnic-table seating make it a favorite spot for a laid-back dinner and sunset on the city's East End. The scene is open-air, dog-friendly and family-friendly, with no fixed stage or music. Trucks run through the warm season, roughly late morning into the evening. Friends of the Eastern Promenade also draws a rotating lineup of trucks to the free Thursday-evening concerts near Fort Allen Park.
